| Stretch marks are caused by the destruction of collagen, elastics, or fibroblasts in the skin, resulting in thin lines appearance across the skin. These marks are caused by rapid stretching of the skin as a result of rapid weight gain and rapid weight loss.

| The appearance of cellulite is dimpled or bumpy, often described as a "orange peel" appearance. It commonly occurs on the buttocks, thighs and lower legs. We tend to develop cellulite as we age because the dermal layer loses its collagen and strength.
